I finally reveal my face! Oh and pretend to ask for money to fund my research.

  1. Sunskruthi! I think you did an amazing job on your video. You articulated the significance clearly and convincingly, and you integrated visual aids to help emphasize your points. My only critique would be that sometimes you talk about complex things (such as the locations on the brain and the statistics) without explaining what they would mean to a lay person.

  2. Hey Sunskruthi!

I really liked the confidence and clarity with which you presented your project! You seemed comfortable and knowledgable about the topic. The visual aids you used supported all of your points and kept the audience engaged without being too overwhelming.

Perhaps, you could slow down slightly and add a bit more intonation in your voice (and maybe some humor?) to lighten the mood, but I also get that ADHD is a serious issue, and you don't really want to make a fool of yourself trying to rap (like some of us chose to do). I would've loved more detail on exactly how you would employ the G test, perhaps with what computer program you were anticipating and explaining more simply how the test worked and what it would show.

Overall, awesome job! With a bit more detail on the statistics behind your project, I'd definitely heavily invest in your project because of the benefits to patients and your expertise in the field!

    Cheers,
    Yash

  3. Hi Sunskruthi,
The video was pretty good, but there were a few areas you could improve in. The images were mostly on point, but there was significant distractions with some of the images. At one point the 4 squares confused me and distracted me from your point. Also many of your technical terms were not necessary to an investor, I think you were too bogged down by your literature review. The investor needed to gain a more general understanding. Also why neurofeedback is better than other treatments needed to be more emphasized.

In terms of your speaking skills, they were pretty on point. However, the speed of your speaking was probably too fast for a persuasion speech. Eye contact was pretty good as well.

Overall, it was a great speech. A little less technicalities and the investments will roll in.
